Ramona Todd, age 85 of Delaware passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Sarah Moore Home.

Born on March 2, 1933 in Monongalia, WV, she was one of eleven children born to the late Jessie and Mossie (Hairiston) Jackson. The lifelong homemaker moved to Delaware in 1990 from Mansfield.

Proud to be a prayer warrior, she home church-ed and enjoyed reading her Bible. Kind and gracious, she collected decorative bells and plates as well as Bibles. Always dependable she loved to garden, especially flowers. Concerning and with a watchful eye, she treasured time spent with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Yvonne Jones, Pandoleen Mack, and Lazarus (Lori) Todd Jr. all of Mansfield, and Rennie (Kimberly) Todd of Delaware, 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, and sister Bright Bowens of Mansfield.

Ramona was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Lazarus Todd Sr. in 1999, a grandchild, as well as nine brothers and sisters.

Friends may call from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Monday at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Dr. at W. William St., Delaware, Ohio 43015, where services will follow at 7:30 p.m. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery next to her husband.

    Moms are special people, the loss of which most people will eventually experience. Finding the right words can oftentimes be quite difficult, but remember there’s a special place in our hearts for our Mothers, just like I’m certain there was a special place in her heart for you & her children. She seemed blessed and you will always carry her memory in your heart. Accept my condolences and I am sincerely sorry for your loss. She seemed to have lived a good/long life!
