Ramona Raubenolt, age 85, of Fredericktown passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 at the Country Court Nursing Home in Mount Vernon.

She was born on October 3, 1928 in Batemantown, Ohio to the late Herbert and Ruth Young. Ramona was employed as a bank teller for banks in Fredericktown, Butler, and Mansfield. She was a member of the VFW in Mansfield and was a member of the Fredericktown United Methodist Church.

Ramona is survived by her son Roger Raubenolt of Fredericktown; her daughter Karen (Bill) Fyfe of Columbus; four grandchildren, Amy Portis, Ripley Raubenolt, Britney Raubenolt, Candy Pratt; seven great-grandchildren; and her sister Beverly Thompson of Zanesville.

Besides her parents, Ramona was preceded in death by her husband John Raubenolt and her daughter Sharon Wears.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 beginning at 1PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ramona’s name may be made to the Fredericktown United Methodist Church Women’s Group.
