Ralph Patrick Fletcher, age 63, of Mount Vernon, OH, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at his residence.  He was born in Mount Vernon, OH, to the late Ralph G. and Patricia (Moore) Fletcher.

Ralph was a 1973 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and went right to Farming. He enjoyed his time with Mike’s Custom Garage in Mount Vernon, and also worked with his brother John for a short time remodeling.  Ralph enjoyed shooting groundhogs, his 2 Harleys, chickens, and mowers, tractors and cars.  He was proud of being a Lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.  His greatest joy was being around his grandkids who he loved with all his heart.  The memories of Easter egg hunting will always be remembered by family.

He is survived by his son, Ralph A. (Jennifer) Fletcher; grandchildren, Raylene, Reece and Ryan Fletcher; brothers, John (Marcia) Fletcher, Gordon (Louise) Fletcher, Steven (Donna) Fletcher, Jeffrey (Lois) Fletcher and Chris (Althea) Fletcher; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses to the Snyder Funeral Homes, Mount Vernon, Ohio.

  • I am so, so sorry 4 Ur lose. I remember When Haley was born ( Steve and Donnas oldest grandchild. Being on the farm. The entire family was just wonderful. The stories everyone all told. May, Ralph rest in peace and sending prayers 4 Ralph’s family and loved ones
