Racine M. Dodge Kollar

Racine M. Dodge Kollar, age 24, of Galion, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at her home.
On February 20, 1985, Racine was born in Galion Hospital, the daughter of Kim (Shoaf) Dodge of Galion, and Dale Dodge of Florida. She graduated from Northmor High School in the class of 2004.
Shortly following graduation, Racine married Eric D. Kollar in Louisville, Kentucky.
A loving mother, Racine cherished her time with her son, 13 month old, Cayden Noah. With her fun loving personality, she enjoyed spending most of her time playing with and caring for him, along with his father, Edward Underwood of Ravenna.
Racine will be missed by her son, Cayden of home; husband, SPC Eric Kollar who is stationed in Fort Lewis, Washington: mother, Kim Dodge of Galion; father, Dale Dodge of Florida; maternal grandparents: David and Patricia Shoaf of Mount Gilead; paternal grandmother, Linda Tanguay of Connecticut; mother-in-law, Carol Betts of Mansfield; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Her family will greet friends from 4 – 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26, at the Snyder Funeral Home, Craven Chapel, 67 N. Main St., Mount Gilead, where services will follow immediately at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Croft officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to her family, to help in the care of her son, Cayden, and they may be sent in care of the funeral home.
