Polly S. Owen Frentsos

Polly S. (Owen) Frentsos, age 61 of Westerville, passed away Friday afternoon May 25, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on January 14, 1951 in Columbus to Rudy and Virginia (Sponaugle) Owen. She was a 1969 Graduate of Big walnut High School and worked for over 20 years for M/I Home in customer service. She was a member of the Xenos Home Church.
Polly loved her family and enjoyed her time spent with her grandchildren and was affectionately known as “Geez” to them. Polly loved to shop, cook and played softball in her earlier years. The trips to Chicago for shopping and baseball games are fondly remembered.
She is survived by her daughter: Reagan (Kevin) Turner of Newark; son: Damon (Heather) Frentsos of Gahanna; grandchildren: George, Lewis, Charlotte Turner; brother: Bill (Carin) Owen of Columbus; loving aunt: Charlotte Berkley of Johnstown; brother-in-law: Richard Wright; step-father: Bob Hoover of Westerville; mother-in-law: Janet (Fuller) Frentsos of Delaware; several brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; best friends: Beth Hahn, Dixie Folden; feline companions: Sammy, Gracie.
Preceded in death by her husband: Phil Frentsos on December 3, 1992; father: Rudy Owen; mother: Virginia Owen Hoover; sister: Judy Wright; father-in-law: Fotios Frentsos.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury where services will be held Thursday 11 a.m. with Mitch Cline, Joe Bott and Fody Frentsos officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunbury Memorial Park.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Hospice of Central Ohio, James Cancer Hospital or Pelotonia.
