Phyllis M. “Phe Phe” Foust, age 57, of Marion, passed away unexpectedly, on Sunday, February 21, 2016, at Marion General Hospital.
She was born on April 5, 1958, in Delaware, OH, to the late Kenneth and Margaret (Louck) Bateman.
Phyllis spent many years working as a dishwasher for the Colonial House. She also loved working the gyro stand at the Marion Popcorn Festival year after year.
She will be remembered for her caring ways and always putting the needs of everyone before her own. Her sweet spirt and people pleasing ways will definitely be missed. When Phyllis wasn’t tending to the needs of others, you could find her taking long walks.
Left to cherish her memories include her children: Kelly (Juan) Westberry, Daniel (Clarissa) Schirtzinger, and Tracy (Brad) Lehner all of Marion; grandchildren: Haylee, Daniel, and Abbi Schirtzinger, Cody and Alyssa Lehner, Juan and Jaylah Westberry; a great grandson, Bobby Blevins; sisters: Peggy Wilson and Marilyn Castle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Butch Foust; parents; brothers: Kenneth Jr. and Ronald Bateman; and sisters: Pamela Thompson and Kathy Winters.
Family will greet friends on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 4 until 7 PM at Gunder/Hall & Snyder Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held there at 11 AM, Saturday, February 27, 2016 with Celebrant Mark Schuring officiating.
