Philip L. Luxenburger

Philip L. “Phil” Luxenburger, age 52 died suddenly Monday, March 17, 2003 in the emergency room of Grady Memorial Hospital.

He was born on August 23, 1950 in Coldwater, Michigan to Donald R. and Irene L. Supianoski Luxenburger of Reading, Michigan. Graduate of Reading High School Class of 1968 in Reading, Michigan and received a Masters Degree in Agriculture Economics from Michigan State University.

Phil worked as a commodities broker for Polar Investments, Berlington, WI. He was an avid golfer, golfing daily and participated in the Mill Creek Golf Club’s Tuesday Golf League. He enjoyed his children and their activities, in doing so he supported the Buckeye Valley Schools music and athletic depts. He liked to “putter” outside as well as spend time with his border collies Megan and Pumpy.

In addition to his parents he is also survived by his loving wife of 25 years: Jill Chivington Luxenburger, Sons: Philip of Zanesville, Jeff of Westerville, Daughter: Amy at home, Sister: Susan (William) Aven of Edmond, Oklahoma, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and a host of friends.

Friends may call Thursday 6-7:30 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St., Delaware, where a celebration of life service will follow Thursday at 7:30 p.m.. The service will be lead by Rev. Linda Meredith and his friend’s, casual dress has been requested by his family.
