Perry H. Bricker Jr, age 89, of Mount Vernon, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at the Country Club Retirement Campus.  He was born on October 4, 1930 in Millwood, Ohio to the late Perry and Devilla (Devore) Bricker Sr.

After graduating from Howard High School Perry joined the United States Army and served his country for four years.  He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall in Mount Vernon, Ohio for over 20 years.  Perry was a gun collector and enjoyed antique firearms over all.  Perry worked for Pittsburgh Plate Glass, Cooper-Bessemer, and Ohio Construction as a heavy machine operator.

He is survived by his children, Ed (Dama) Bricker, Reta (Jon) Wantland, Klaus Patterson; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Glen Bricker, Max (Evelyn) Bricker; a sister, Leona Blubaugh; a brother-in-law, Ed (Linda) Wilson several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Perry is preceded in death by his wives, Sara (Wilson Bricker, Frieda (Muller) Bricker; son, Billy Wayne Bricker, a granddaughter and grandson; and a sister, Persia Rhodes.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 3:00 pm with an hour prior of visitation from 2-3 pm at the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall; 189 Mansfield Road, Mount Vernon, OH 43050 with Paul Kerr officiating.
