  • I have such vivid and wonderful memories of Peggy. She took me to first grade at East School every day like a big sister. She was in fifth grade and an idol for me. We lived close and Grandma Lamb’s was a haven for all of us. I remember her wedding and how she looked like a Princess that day. It is a lasting memory of a beautiful person I have known all my life. When we visited Galion, she and Ted would drive up to have dinner with my dad and the rest of our clan. In the past years after Ted passed, we kept in touch by phone and cards. She was happy being close to her daughter. I mourn her loss, but will never forget holding her hand on the way to school. Carol LambSmith

  • I am so sorry to hear of Peggy’s passing. All of my memories of her are so happy. She was always smiling and laughing. She loved to tell a good joke. Christmas at Grandma Lamb’s house would always be roaring with laughter when she was there. When all of us cousins and our kids were there, it was a houseful. My deepest sympathy and condolences are with her family. You were so blessed to have such loving parents ( & grandparents). Barbara (Windbigler) Johnson

  • I was so saddened to see Peggy s obituary. I got to know Peggy thru my flower shop. I will miss our conversations . Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers

  • Her passing saddens me greatly. She was my baby-sitter and used to take me roller skating at the outdoor rink. Having a cheeseburger at Porky’s with her was just so cool! She’s at the center of my best childhood memories.

Her family cared for me when my mother was in the hospital; they were good neighbors in every sense and just good people. My condolences to her family.

    Regards, Bev Balliett
