Pauline Chinchurak, age 91, of Mansfield, went to be with the Lord Monday morning, March 26, 2012 from Wedgewood Estates following a short illness.
She was born March 30, 1920 in Akron to Karl & Katy (Toman) Milec and married Paul Chinchurak on September 16, 1939. They lived in Phoenix, Arizona for 40 years before returning to Mansfield 27 years ago.
Pauline was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church who had a heart for children and the less fortunate. She enjoyed making dolls for children and baking cookies to be used for distribution to the needy, and in ministry.
Pauline is survived by a sister Katie Mate in Mercer Island, WA; numerous nieces and nephews including Mike & Nancy Kray, II, of Columbus; sisters-in-law Anne Fabok of Harrow, Ontario and Betty Brimner of Fairbanks, Alaska; and numerous friends in Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Paul, on April 6, 2010. Also deceased are her sisters Sue Kozy and Anne Kray; brothers Steve Milec and John Milec; brother-in-law Sam Chinchurak and sister-in-law Helen Ballentine.
Friends may call Friday, March 30, 2012 from Noon to 1 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where her funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Brother Marc Contrascere will speak. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
