Pauline C. Neuman, 98, of Galion passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville.

She was born January 7, 1921 in Claton, West Virginia and was the daughter of Eugene and Irene (Sherman) Neidert. On July 1, 1941 she married Vincent Neuman and they enjoyed 30 years of marriage until his passing on February 26, 1972.

Pauline was a 1939 graduate of St. Joseph Academy in Wheeling, West Virginia. She was a homemaker and took pride in keeping a clean house. Pauline enjoyed sewing, gardening and feeding animals.

She is survived by three daughters, Jule (Ed) Sonnenberg of Coral Springs, Florida, Beth (Jim) Laughbaum of Galion and Bernadette (Richard) Willis of Marengo; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and her cat, Rascal.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by sisters Mary Olinski, Ruth Mencer and Helen Bodnar and a brother Eugene “Bud” Neidert.

Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Wheeling, West Virginia at a later date.
