Paula Kay Turner, age 60, of Zanesville and formerly of Marion, died Monday morning, September 7, 2009, at the Morrison House of Genesis Hospice in Zanesville as a result of cancer.

On December 30, 1948, Paula was born in Mount Gilead, the daughter of the late Paul Sr. and Carolyn (Goff) Tobin. She graduated from Highland High School in the Class of 1966, and later received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Almeda University.

Paula worked many years in Human Resource Management at SIKA Corporation, Cardington Yutaka Technologies, Galion LLC, and Whirlpool Corporation.

She was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church in Marion.

Paula will be dearly missed by her children: Jessica (Patrick) Clarke of Marion, and their five boys: Aaron, Emanuel, James, Maurice, and Vincent Clarke; Rob (Suzy) Turner of Zanesville, and their two daughters: Madelyn and Marissa Turner; and Riki (Mike) Holpuch of Twinsburg, Ohio, and their two sons: Zach and Will Holpuch; three brothers: Pastor Pat (Barbara) Tobin of Mount Gilead, Tim Tobin of Peebles, Ohio, and Rick (Cindy) Tobin of West Liberty, Ohio; four sisters: Carol Tobin of Marysville, Sue (Terry) Cole of Mount Gilead, Sherry Atwell of Galion, and Jeanne Tobin of Columbus; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Including her parents, Paula was preceded in death by two brothers: Jerry and Paul Jr. Tobin; a sister, Christy “Jo” Tobin; and a daughter, Andrea.

Paula’s family will receive from 5 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, at the Snyder Funeral Home, Craven Chapel, 67 N. Main St., Mt. Gilead, where a memorial service honoring her life will follow immediately at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Colleen Ogle officiating.

In lieu of flowers, her family asks that memorial contributions be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care, 713 Forest Ave., Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
