Paul Warren Frazier

Paul Warren Frazier, 66, passed over into Gloryland on June 19, 2011, at his home in Pickerington, Ohio, surrounded by his loving family. Paul was born Aug. 14, 1944 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to Leland and Lila (DeVore) Frazier.
On August 29, 1964, he married his high school sweetheart, Margaret Brown, a 1964 Mount Vernon graduate. He was a 1962 graduate of Centerburg High School. Following graduation, he attended the Cincinnati Bible Seminary. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1963, where he trained at the Great Lakes Naval Academy. Upon graduation, he was stationed at San Diego Naval Base, studying dentistry, and later stationed at Bethesda (Maryland) Naval Hospital. Following his military discharge, he began a career in the dental sales field, which spanned over 40 years. His expertise in dental sales provided him an opportunity to see much of the United States and several countries
Paul was a member of the Milford Church of Christ. In the 1980’s his father, Leland, organized a church orchestra, and Paul dug out his high school trumpet to be part of it. Paul came from a loving, close-knit family which include his devoted wife, Margaret; three sons, Carey (Jeanne) Frazier and Bryan (Kathy) Frazier, all of Pickerington, and Jason (Meena) Frazier of Valencia, California; his beloved mother, Lila Frazier, of Centerburg; two brothers, Carroll (Darlene) Frazier of Lancaster, Dean (Pam) Frazier of Toboso; three sisters, Shirley (Ray) Looker of Springfield, Karen Frazier and Loretta (Bill) Kent all of Centerburg; grandchildren, Tabitha Frazier, Brandon Frazier, LeeAnn Frazier, Izabelle Frazier, Parker Frazier, Ava Frazier, Jay Frazier; step-grandchildren Jenny (James) Kochensparger, John “Jamie” (Michelle) Andrachek, Josh Andrachek, Dustin Spurlock and five step-great-grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Leland Frazier in 2000.
Calling hours will be Thursday, June 23, 2011from 5 – 7 PM at Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Rd, Mt. Vernon, OH 43050. A funeral for Paul will be held on Friday, beginning at 10 AM at the Milford Church of Christ, 3648 Johnstown Road, Centerburg, OH 43011 with Darrin Pratt officiating. Interment, with military honors provided by the Knox County Joint Veteran’s Council, will be at the East View Cemetery in Centerburg.

Soon I shall hear the call from Heaven’s portals, “Come home, my child, it’s the last mile
you must trod.” I’ll fall asleep and wake in God’s new Heaven, Sheltered safe within the arms of God.
