Paul L. Aspery, age 91 of Delaware died early Saturday morning July 1, 2017 at Delaware Court.

He was born on August 14, 1925 in Delaware, Ohio the son of the late Harry Calvin and Blanche Marie (Parr) Aspery.

Paul worked for various places in Delaware, most notably Gibson the florist for roughly 15 years, Sunray Stove and as a guard for Hughes Keenen.

He enjoyed fishing trips to Lake Erie, going camping, traveling, and bird watching.  More recently, he liked taking trips to Hobby Lobby to purchase model cars and trucks that he would assemble.

He will be missed by his daughter Joyce (Curtis) Howard of Delaware; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister Betty Murphy of Wooster; brothers David (Gerri) and Gene (Sharon) of Delaware; sister-in-law Carol Aspery of Livonia, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Harold, Richard, and Gerald Aspery; sister Helen Lingo; and a brother and sister in infancy Harry and Mary Aspery.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 2 PM at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Dr. at W. William St., Delaware. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family from noon until the time of the service.
