Paul E. Flick, 85, of 376 Tidd Drive, Galion, died unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 9, 2005 at Galion Community Hospital.

Born May 10, 1920 in Galion, he was the son of the late Clyde Flick and Katherine Stinehilber Flick. He married Carol Meuser Flick on April 9, 1944 and she survives.

He graduated from Iberia High School in 1938 and was a member of First United Church of Christ where he sang in the choir. He participated in the Minstrel Shows that were held at Galion High School. He loved to play Euchre and belonged to a Euchre Club for many years. He and his wife enjoyed their winter home in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Paul was a dairy farmer on County Line Road raising Brown Swiss cattle.

Also surviving are his two daughters and sons-in-law, Sara and Robert Grandstaff of Zanesville and Jill and John Ginder of Plymouth, Mich.; two grandsons, Jared and Jordan Ginder and one sister, Alice Lewis of Galion.

He was preceded in death by one son, Tim Flick and two sisters, Josephine Baldinger and Mildred Jones.

Private memorial services will be held for family and close friends at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home with Rev. Samuel J. Buehrer officiating.
