Paul D. Fink, 58, of Mount Gilead died Thursday July 14, 2005 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio after a short illness.
He was born in Athens County on December 24, 1946 the son of the late Clifford M. and Goldie Fink.
A resident of Washington Court House, Ohio most of his life he has lived in Mount Gilead for 9 ½ years. He was a highly decorated Veteran of the United States Army receiving the Purple Heart for his services in the Vietnam War. He was also a graduate of Circleville Bible College and The Ohio State University. He was employed by UPS as a Feeder.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and American Hunter.
He is survived by three sons Jonathon D. (Tina) Fink of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Paul D. (Sandra) Fink of Burlington, Kentucky, and Nathaniel Fink of Cardington, a daughter Faith M. (Shane) Walp of McPherson, Kansas, and 17 grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday July 17, 2005 from 2-4 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Gilead. Rev. Earl Fields will perform services there on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Burial with full military honors will follow in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
