Paul Beck, 55 of Delaware passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Kobacker House in Columbus after a courageous battle with sarcoma cancer.

He was born November 23, 1962 in Canton, Ohio, he graduated from  Glen Oak High School in 1981 and attended 2 years of college  before joining the United States Marine Corps were he proudly served his country for 4 years.

Left to cherish his memory is wife of 12 years Lori (Henderson) Beck; son Kyle Beck; step- son Eric Frantz; sister Maureen Reno of Florida; sister and brother-in-law Erika and Rafael  Rosario.

Paul found joy in being outside fishing and barbequing, he could never turn down a peanut butter sandwich, as long as it was creamy peanut butter. He enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams which included The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Indians. He also enjoyed watching golf and NASCAR. He also loved Star Trek. His greatest joy in life was his family.

A celebration of life service will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday September 30, 2018 with Celebrant Marvin Hintz officiating at Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center 101 Valleyside Drive, Delaware, Ohio 43015. Family and friends may call from Noon until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed towards Delaware City Veterans Association, P.O. Box 173, Sunbury, Ohio 43074  or please feel free to bring items in which can be used to fill boxes to send to marines overseas.

  • Lori, I’m so sorry to hear about Paul. He was a wonderful, caring man. I never got the pleasure of meeting u but if Paul chose u to be hi wife, I’m sure u are a beautiful person inside and out. I was in a marching Corp with Paul and I went to Glen Oak with him. Prayers go out to u and ur family ! God Bless and know that he is in a better place now and out of pain.

  • Lori you and Kyle are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry for all the pain and suffering Paul went through. I am sorry you and your son had to go through it also. I know it must have been hard to see that. Just keep all the memories alive to help you get through this. Just know that Paul is watching over you and family now.   • Maureen, I am so sorry for the loss of your brother. I remember all the fun times we had growing up with Paul! All the pranks we all played on each other. All in all I think Paul was a pretty good sport! Just try to remember all the good times! Paul turned out to be a great guy! I’m sorry his life here on earth ended too early. Just remember he is in a much better place and watching over everyone. All the pain and suffering is done. You are in my thoughts and prayers durring this very difficult time! Much Love.
