Patsy Sizemore-Walker, age 79 of Marion, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Marion General Hospital.

Patsy was born on May 13, 1941 in McCreary County, Kentucky, the daughter of William and Arletha (Duncan) Sizemore. Patsy was educated in Marion and graduated from Harding High School in the class of 1959.

Patsy was a fun-loving person that lived life to the fullest. She had an infectious laugh and also had a creative side. She never forgot her Kentucky roots and kept in contact with her family there. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. Every chance she could, she spoiled her grandkids and great grandkids. She leaves behind of legacy of love and devotion.

She is survived by her children: Regan Elsasser and Brenda (Ernie) Wallace; grandchildren: Beth (Jason) Dorsey, Eric (Candace Brodie) Elsasser, Jesse (Emily) Elsasser, Adam Garrison, Ernie (Jeanna) Wallace, II, and Amy (Matt) Combs; great grandchildren: Addalynn, Paxtyn, and Rayna Elsasser, Loki Elsasser, Joshua Wallace, Zach Daily, Holden Wallace, and Carson Combs; and siblings: Vaughn (Pam) Sizemore, Vern (Kathie) Sizemore, and Sandra (Robert) Sedgwick.

Patsy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert Walker, daughter Rochelle Elsasser; and sister Elaine Curtis.

Graveside service will be Friday, January 22, 2021 at Marion Cemetery (Harding Memorial Side) at 11:15AM.

  • Sorry for your loss, We just heard the sad news. She always came into TJ’S with a smile on her face. Pat would brighten up everyone’s day as soon as she walked through the door. We loved hearing her stories about her life, She would always talk about her family and how much she loved them. She will definitely be missed. R.I.H Patsy. Heaven gained a beautiful angel.
