MANSFIELD: Patsy S. Mullins Barr, 60, of Chilton Avenue, Mansfield, died Saturday, January 5, 2008 in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born May 25, 1947 in Garrett, Kentucky to Denver and Dacie (Nickles) Mullins and with her family, moved to Richland County in the early 1950’s.

Patsy was graduated from Clear Fork High School in 1966.

She worked as a press operator for Therm-O-Disc, a dedicated employee for over 40 years, until her retirement in 2006.

Patsy enjoyed being outside and spent most of her summers camping at Apple Valley Campground, fishing, walking, or enjoying a campfire.

She loved to travel, one of her favorite vacation spots was in Florida. Pat also took some memorable vacations to Hawaii and Aruba.

Always looking for a bargain, she loved to go shopping with her sisters or a girlfriend.

Most of all, Pat adored her family and friends.

She is survived by her twin sister Delores Gerhart of Mansfield, a brother and sister-in-law Ervin and Jean Mullins of Mansfield, and a sister and brother-in-law Ruth and Danny Edwards of Bellville, five nieces, five nephews, and 19 great nieces and nephews; a host of extended family and friends; and her canine companion Yorkiepoo Candy.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call Tuesday, January 8, 2008 from 5-8 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 am. Burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society may be made at the funeral home.
