Patsy A. Cline, age 72, of Mount Vernon, died Monday September 16, 2019 at the Ohio Eastern Star Home in Mount Vernon. Patsy was born July 7, 1947 in Mount Vernon to Frank L. Hankins Jr. and Mary Katheryn (Beavers) Hankins and had spent her lifetime in the Mount Vernon area.

Patsy was a member of the Advent Christian Church and had been a member of Local #271 AFL-CIO.

She is survived by her daughter Tricia Ann Petersen, her brother John L. Hankins of Thornville and her sister Donna Jean Basinger of Marion.

There will be no services. Private burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.

She helped our mother take care of us when we were little and we thank her for being there when our parents couldn’t be. All our thoughts and prayers to you both.   • Hello Trish i’m not sure if you remember me we only met once a few years ago for a brief moment when i was at your mothers. I’m so very sorry for your loss Trish your Mother was a dear friend and a lady that i loved with all my heart and have all my life i was so sad when i was told of her passing but she is at peace with the lord now and home with her mother and father .
