  • I am so sorry and in shock to hear of Patti’s passing away. I still can’t believe it.
She was a very good friend and I loved her. I spoke to her about 2 weeks ago. We shared many great times and memories and I can’t forget all those recipes we exchanged.

  • To Gary and Patti’s family we send our deepest condolences. We are in shock to hear this. Patti called me about 2 wks ago and we chatted for over an hour and she did not indicate that she wasn’t well. She was always so concerned for everyone else. She was a dear friend and I know she was a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. She just always wanted to take care of everyone and I know how much she will be missed.

I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Knowing Patti, she’s probably already baking cookies with her beloved Dad. God bless you all.

  • So sorry and shocked to hear of the passing of my dear friend,Patti. I will surely miss her phone calls and visits. She was truly a good friend. She will always be in my heart

  • Patti was like a sister to me ….. I have known her all my life … we grew up together on Harvey Street in Munhall. We have been friends since we were toddlers and there will never be another friend to replace her. The Vahs Family were a part of my everyday life growing up. Patti’s Mom took us swimming at Piney Forks and Mineral Beach in the summertime and sled riding and ice skating at South Park in the wintertime. I have known Gary since he and Patti started dating when Patti and I were fifteen. We double dated many times. Patti and I were at the Federal Building downtown to see Gary off to the Air Force in 1970. Everyone knew that they would be together forever, and they were. They have been the very best friends over all of the years that my husband and I have ever known. I have the strong feeling that alot of their friends think the same way about them as we do.
We love you and miss you, Patti! To Gary, Sara, Bev and Carlene … you are in our prayers.
    Love, Marcia & David
