Patricia L. Gault

Patricia L. Gault, age 82, of Mount Vernon passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the Knox Community Hospital.

She was born on January 29, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late T.J. and Fanchon (Taylor) Lucci.  Patricia was employed as a Phlebotomist at the Knox Community Hospital and also owned and operated Gault’s Cleaners.  She was a past member of the Mount Vernon Country Club, was a past officer for the Order of the Elks #140, the Colonial City Women of the Moose #100, was a Life Member of the Beta-Sigma-Phi Sorority, and was a Nationally Certified Phlebotomist and Medical Assistant.

She is survived by her husband Larry E. Gault; her son, Jim (Debra) Gault; her daughter, Kimberly (Timothy) Hutchison; four grandchildren, Rachel Gault, Tony Gault, Colton Hutchison and McKenzie Hutchison; and two brothers, David (Karen) Lucci, Robert Spratt.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter Catherine Gault; and her step-father R.O. Spratt.

Friends may call on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 2-3PM at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home.  A memorial service will follow, beginning at 3PM, with Rev. Karen Oehl officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patricia’s name may be made to the Gay Street United Methodist Church.
