MANSFIELD: Patricia Jo “Pat” Forsythe, 66, of Mansfield passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Avita Hospital Ontario following a brief illness.

The daughter of Joe and Jean (Heilman) Harding, Pat was born April 24, 1954 in Mansfield and graduated from Madison High School in 1972.

Pat worked at General Motors, her main focus however was that of wife and mother.

Pat was a member at Little Flock Fellowship.  She served as children’s Sunday School teacher and always assisted with Vacation Bible School making t-shirts and crafts for the church youth.  She loved and accepted Christ as her savior.

Pat was an amazing seamstress and talented at making and designing crafts.  She will be remembered for her love of Jesus and her family.  She was giving, compassionate, and never stopped believing in Christ, even during life’s difficult moments.

She is survived by her husband Rick Forsythe of Mansfield; son Douglas Alan Newsome of Mansfield; granddaughters Kayla Maree Newsome, Reghan Mckenzie Newsome, and Avah Rose Newsome; great granddaughter Maree Yvonne Lane; step brother Rick (Kathryn) Heilman of Baltimore, Maryland and step sister Cathy Bellomy of Mansfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Public visitation will held Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 12 pm – 2 pm in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home.  Private funeral services will follow.   Pastor Mike Weaver will officiate.  Burial will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery in Chesterville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to assist her family with funeral expenses.  Please make checks payable to Snyder Funeral Homes.

Later we reconnected at Little Flock Fellowship Church where we enjoyed serving together. Again with lots of laughter! I will always remember her beautiful smile when I think of her.
