Patricia A. Kiser (Lacey), age 72, of Mount Gilead, passed away unexpectedly at her residence, March 7, 2020.

She was born on December 7, 1947, in Leonardtown, Maryland, to the late James G. Lacey, Helen T. (Connolly) Cummings who survives, the late Betty L. Lacey (Step Mother).

For many years, Patricia worked at the distribution center for The Limited Brands.

Patricia cherished her children, granddaughter and great grandchildren. She enjoyed nothing more than going back home to Maryland and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful cook, with the family favorite being her homemade lasagna. Having a crafty side, Patricia loved to crotchet and made numerous afghans as gifts for her family and friends. She enjoyed reading Danielle Steel books and watching Survivor, Dancing with the Stars and Jeopardy.

With a heart of gold, Patricia will forever be remembered as a loving soul. She was a friend to many. Her family was her world and she will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish her memory includes her children: Debra (Joseph) Martin of Marengo, Dawn Richardson of Ashville and James Richardson Jr. of Mexico; granddaughter, Samantha (Ian) Ralph of Marengo; great grandchildren: Alayna and Skyler; mother, Helen Cummings; brothers: James (Barbara) Lacey Jr., Johnny (Ann) Lacey, Dudley Lacey, Norman (Luvina) Lacey, Danny (Sarah) Greenwell, and Rick (Elaine) Greenwell; sisters: Dala (Sonny) Brecar, Lucheria “Butch” Fox, Paula (David) Lathroum, Joanne Sheehan; former husband and father to her children, James R. Richardson Sr.; her canine companion, CeeCee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father, James; brothers: Mikey Lacey and Jimmy Hooper; and sisters: Mary Bowles and Kathy Kolbe.

Her family will greet friends from 11 AM to 1 PM on Friday, March 13, 2020, at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Craven Chapel. (67 N. Main St., Mount Gilead, OH 43338) A service to celebrate her life will follow there at 1 PM with Celebrant Galen McLeod officiating, Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery.
