  • I have good memories of the families of the three sisters gathering at grandpa and grandma’s farm on holidays and often on weekends. Those were special times for everyone and for us, the kids.
Sharing Fourth of July cookouts and hand-cranking homemade ice cream was always a summer highlight. Aunt Pat was an important part of those times. She was a caring Aunt who, to me, always seemed so busy. Between her family of four kids, her job outside the home and community and church involvement, she had a full and busy life. I didn’t get to know her very well as an adult because my family moved away when I was sixteen but thinking back, I feel that she gave so much of her energy and life to benefit others. I will remember her as a special person in those special times.

Peace and comfort to family and friends,
    Greg Matthews
