Pamela S. Dabney

Pamela S. Dabney, age 62, of Chesterville and formerly of South Solon, passed away peacefully, Tuesday afternoon, October 12, 2021, after years of failing health.
She was born on May 5, 1959, in Springfield, OH, to the late Earl C. and Norma J. (Jacobs) Dabney and graduated from Springfield North High School.
A woman of faith, Pamela was raised in the Central United Methodist Church in Springfield.
For many years, Pamela worked in the office doing titles for Monte Zinn Chevrolet. She also worked part time at the library where she enjoyed working with children.
Pamela loved being on the farm where they raised animals and had a fairly large grain operation. She also enjoyed cooking and riding her Harley motorcycle when she was in good health. Pamela was also known to enjoy a game or two of bingo. Her family will remember her for her wonderful sense of humor, vibrant smile, and zest for life.
Left to cherish her memory includes her brothers: Steve (Marilyn) Dabney of Mount Gilead and Robert Michael Dabney of Sterling Heights, MI; and her aunt, Carol Jacobs of Bucyrus.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Earl and Norma.
Her family will gather from 9:30 AM to 10 AM, on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Craven Chapel. (67 N. Main St., Mount Gilead, OH 43338) A service to celebrate her life will follow at 10 AM with Pastor Jeff Canankamp officiating. Burial will follow in Silvercreek Cemetery in Jamestown, OH.
