Pamela Jean Tuggle
July 18, 1954 ‒ November 26, 2007
Pamela Jean Tuggle, age 53, of Marion, went to be with the Lord on Monday evening, November 26, 2007, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus following a brief battle with cancer.
A brave woman of faith, Pam was not afraid of cancer and was anxious to meet Jesus. She was a member of the Grace Brethren Church in Marion.
On September 14, 1990, Pam married her loving husband, Tim Tuggle. Together they have been lovingly raising their five year old daughter, Rebecca, who was the apple of her mother’s eye. As a family, they love going camping at the Delaware Dam where they would set a tent, start a fire, and enjoy each other’s company. If they weren’t camping, they often enjoyed a nice round of golf together. To Pam, her family was everything.
Always selfless, Pam was a “beautiful good hearted woman” who put the needs of others before her own. Recently, she cared for ailing sister, Karen, who passed away in October, never complaining and ignoring her own pains.
Left to cherish her memory include her husband, Tim; three daughters: Debbie Broussard of Louisianna, Kelley Bellfy of Mount Gilead, and Rebecca Tuggle of home; five grandchildren: Hunter, Hope, Holden, Hayden, and Cody.
She was preceded in death by her brother: Ron Wolfe; sister: Karen Dowalter; and by her father-in-law: Berkley Tuggle Sr.
Her family will greet friends on Thursday from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home, Craven Chapel, 67 N. Main St., Mt. Gilead, where a short service of remembrance will follow immediately at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor John Jones and Pastor Chad Tuggle officiating. Burial will follow in Marengo Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 870 Michigan Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
