Opal Anderson, age 83, of South Main Street, Fredericktown, Ohio, died on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Knox Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 16, 1926 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to the late Francis and Zella Marie (Ridenbaugh) Fry. She was a lifetime member of the Eagles and Ladies Auxiliary of the Moose Lodge both of Mount Vernon. She attended the New Life Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed the quality time she spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, William Anderson of Fredericktown, a daughter, Saundra (Chris) Miracle of Fredericktown, two grandchildren, Angel (Chris) Harmon of Mount Vernon, Andrew Parnell of Mount Vernon and three great grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Anderson, two brothers, Howard Fry and Harold Fry and a sister, Edna Mae Fry.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2009 at the New Life Church of the Nazarene, 998 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.
