Olive M. Amore

MANSFIELD: Olive M. Amore, 93, formerly of Sunset Boulevard, died Monday morning December 17, 2007 in Hospice of North Central Ohio, Ashland, following a long illness.
Olive was born October 14, 1914 in North Liberty to Franklin Seymour Grubb and Sarah Jane (Price) Grubb.
A lifelong area resident, Olive was a former member of the North Liberty Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school.
For many years Olive worked as a press operator at Swan Cleaners and Fusco Cleaners where she specialized in operating the satin presses.
Her quick wit and unparalleled determination always brought a smile to those around her. Blessed with a sense of humor, Olive was never afraid to speak her mind. She will be remembered for her dependability and trustworthiness.
Olive is survived by her niece Juanita and Robert Pipes of Bellville and nephew Roger and Gaylene Butterbaugh of Fredericktown; her step-son Kenneth Amore of Lexington, her step grandson Dan Amore and step great grandson Evan Amore; ten great nephews, six great nieces, six great great nieces and seven great great nephews; two great great great nieces and two great great great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Amore in 1995. Also deceased are two brothers Harvey and Harold Grubb and two sisters Viola Butterbaugh and Helen Doup.
Friends may call Thursday, December 20, 2007 from Noon to 2 PM in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will immediately follow at 2 PM. The Rev. Kenneth Kinley will officiate. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions to Hospice of North Central Ohio may be made at the funeral home.
