Olive Cutler Joseph

Olive Cutler JOSEPH, age 85 of Powell died early Thursday morning, January 10, 2002 in the Emergency Room of Grady Memorial Hospital following a 3 week illness.
She was born on Aug. 16, 1916 in Piketon, Ohio to the late Curtis D. Joseph Sr. and Pearl L. (Looney) Cutler. Graduate of Powell High School Class of 1933, she spent most of her life in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, where she and her husband owned and operated two restaurants. She retired from Dana Corp. in Churubusco, IN.
Olive moved back to Powell in 1982 from the Indiana, Tri-Lakes area to help in the care of her parents. She was a very proud member of the Daughters of American Revolution, Mary Penrose Wayne Chapter of Ft. Wayne, IN and OES Order of Eastern Star, Columbia City Indiana Chapter. A flower and vegetable gardener, she also enjoyed crossword puzzles and her pet cats and dogs.
Also preceded in death by her husband of 34 years: Peter Christ Joseph, he died March 30, 1974, they were married Sept. 9, 1940 in Erlinger, Kentucky, Brother: Richard Cutler, Sister: Kathleen Fathbruckner, and Bootsie.
Survived by Brothers: Waldo Cutler of Napa, CA, Donald (Bernadine) Cutler of Lewis Center, Curtis D. “Butch”(Patsy) Cutler Jr. of Mt. Gilead, Sisters: Edith Crissinger, Suncity Center, FL, Elsie Ross of Napa, CA, Barbara (Paul) Carter of Pickerington, Donna (James) McLane and Alice (Calvin) Graham of Lewis Center, Special Aunt: Ocie Harter of Ostrander, many nieces & nephews.
Friends may call Sunday 5-8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St., (SR 36), Delaware, where funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 a.m., Pastor Chris Jackson officiating. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery.
