Norma Rose Anderson, 79, of Delaware, dedicated mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother died Monday morning at her residence. She was born December 17, 1926 in Lakeville, Ohio to Howard Rhamey and Dorothy (Wachtel) Rhamey. She was a homemaker, member of St. Marks Lutheran Church, Delaware and the Women’s Card Club. She was a business service represenative for 24 years for GTE of Marion and had been in the beauty business with her sister in Big Prairie, Ohio. She enjoyed a lengthy retirement life spending the last 17 years in Clearwater, Florida living adjacent to her sister playing euchre 3 nights a week and playing golf. Her greatest joy was her family and she was a huge Cleveland Indians fan. She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, John; 3 daughters, Cheryl Lynn Anderson of Canal Winchester, Sue (Charlie) Likens of Radnor, and Cindy (Sam) Dinovo of Delaware; son, John W. (Angie) Anderson of Powell; 3 granddaughters, 3 grandsons and 3 greatgrandsons; brother, Jim (Ginger) Rhamey of Murchison, Texas; sister, Joan (Robert) Piar of Ashland. The family will receive friends on Thursday July 27th from 5 – 8 pm at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, Bennett Brown Chapel, 1510 W. William St., Delaware and where funeral services will be held on Friday July 28th at 10:30 am with Rev. Bruce Quatman officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association or St. Marks Lutheran Church.
