Mansfield, Ohio

REYNOLDSBURG: Nicole Lynn Trease passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 in her Reynoldsburg home. She was 45 years old.

Nikki was born February 9, 1973 in Mansfield, the daughter of Norm & Pamela (Parker) Huebner. After Nikki was graduated from Clear Folk High School, she attended North Central State College and later Chamberlain College of Nursing.

Nikki worked at Cracker Barrel for over 20 years where she did a little bit of everything. She started at the Cracker Barrel in Mansfield before moving to the location in Reynoldsburg and was most recently a line cook.

She was looking forward to moving to Breckenridge, Colorado in the near future to be close to her son, Cameron. Nikki loved spending time with her son and was a very loving and supportive mother.

In spare time, she enjoyed reading books—especially Dean Koontz and Stephen King novels—and she also enjoyed playing video games. Nikki was a huge OSU fan and also loved her feline companions “Mittens” in her youth, her current cat “Bella,” and “Precious” in eternity.

Nikki is survived by her son Cameron Trease of Lexington, OH; parents Norm & Pam Huebner of Butler, OH; three sisters Lisa (Andy) Morris of Murfreesboro, TN, Lori Alsbrook of Fort Mills, SC, Lynn (Todd) Hampton of Westerville, OH; maternal grandparents John & Thelma Parker of Butler, OH; father of her son Chris Trease of Lexington; close friends and roommates Tabby Schaechterle and Brian Goodrich; lifelong friend Robin Swartz; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Harry Crosby.

Her family will receive friends Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home (81 Mill Road in Bellville). Friends are invited to dress casual for this gathering in honor of Nikki’s life.
