Neomia Lee Caudill, 74, of Galion passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Galion surrounded by her family.

Born July 9, 1946 in Marion, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Estella (Spears) Tyler.

Neomia loved roses and angels and was an artist who was a fabulous drawer.  She was an excellent seamstress and even made all of her girls Easter outfits when they were young children, was a great baker and could fix anything around the house that needed to be fixed. She had a heart of gold, who was loved by all.

She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Spear of Galion, Sherry (Mike Stish) Stone of Galion and Serrena (Tyler) Swartz of Columbia, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Amanda Shepherd, Victoria Spear, Ammie (Kyle) Wyman, Phillip Swartz and Chelsi Swartz; eight great grandchildren, Gavin Stone, Landon Cole, Kameron Leitenberger, Jordan Swartz, Aurora Swartz, Lailah White, Jeremiah White and Haven Wyman; being the oldest of nine children she is survived by her siblings, Tom Tyler of Tennessee, Kathy Cochran of Cincinnati, Linda French of Marion, Patricia Cunningham of Marion and Chuck Woodall of Columbus and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her previous husband, Everett Caudill, sister, Cecilia Howell and brothers, Edward Tyler and Ron Woodall.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2020 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833. Additional calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon Tuesday, September 15 at the funeral home, with services held at 12 noon with Pastor Barkley Slone officiating. Burial will follow at Caledonia Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to the Heartland Hospice of Marion for the loving care their mother received from them.
