Ned P. White

September 22, 1966 ‒ February 13, 2020

Marion, Ohio

Ned P. White, age 53 of Marion, passed away at his home on Thursday, February 13, 2020.

Ned was born in Galion on September 22, 1966, the youngest of 7, to Joseph and Beverly Jean (Agnus) White, Jr.

Ned was born with health problems but he did not let that define who he was and he never complained or whined even when he was in pain. Ned loved professional wrestling and The Price is Right. Music filled Ned’s soul and there wasn’t a song that he couldn’t name. Not only did he love to listen, he also loved to sing, especially karaoke. When he was younger he enjoyed camping and never once did he feel like his health held him back. Those who knew Ned well knew that he was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins. One of Ned’s favorite places to be was with his friends at his favorite bar where he also worked alongside Penny and Charlie Albright. His dream was to have his own place, and he fulfilled that dream at Brownstone where he was surrounded by many friends. Church was also something that Ned enjoyed and he had a deep and abiding faith in God.

He is survived by his siblings: Rick White, Brian (Dee Bentley) White and Tina Callahan; step-brother Kenny Lawhun and many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Ned is preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings.

Visitation will be Monday, February 17, 2020 at Snyder Funeral Homes, GUNDER/HALL Chapel, 347 West Center St., Marion from 11AMto 1PM; Funeral service will follow at 1PM with Pastor Greg Casto officiating; burial will follow at Little Sandusky Cemetery.
