Naomi Sharon Curl, age 69, of Sunbury, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Arbors of Delaware following a long illness surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 6, 1950 in Columbus to the late Floyd J. and Gladys P. (Frost) Hinkle. Graduate of Highland High School. Naomi enjoyed watching western movies, horses, Days of Our Lives, Crocheting and her cat, “Dough-Boy”. In addition to her parents Naomi is also preceded in death by sister, Ruth Ann Nininger; brothers, Floyd, Robert, David and Sammy Hinkle. She is survived by loving husband of 28 years, Richard M. Curl; devoted daughter and son-in-law, Amy P. and James Casey of Mt. Gilead; step-daughters, Victoria L. (Jason) Nash of Pickerington and Donna (Rick) Blanch of Upper Arlington; sister, Mary Jane Staten of Mt. Gilead; brothers, Daniel Hinkle of Stockton, CA, Donnie Hinkle of Sunbury and Ronnie Hinkle of Mt. Gilead; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will take place at 2 pm on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 637 N. State Route 61, (at SR 3), Sunbury, where the family will be receiving friends from 12 noon until service time. Pastor John Mitchell officiating. Interment Fargo Cemetery.
