Naomi H. “Sis” Martin, 78, of 124 East Payne Ave. Galion, died Friday, May 27, 2005 at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital after a brief illness.

Born August 4, 1926 in Galion, she was the daughter of the late Orville Prosser and Helen H. Schnelker Prosser. She married Weldon L. “Bud” Martin and he survives.

She was a graduate of Galion High School in 1943 and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galion. She enjoyed bowling and playing bingo. She loved puppy dogs and collected stuffed pigs. She retired from Fisher Printing in Galion and previously worked at Frye’s Restaurant in Crestline and Ohio Overcoat Company in Galion.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kathi and Steve Cunningham of Columbus, a step daughter, Jo Ann Richards of Sylvania; two step sons and spouses David L. and Gail Martin of West Harrison, Ind. and Michael and Sue Martin of Ontario and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, James Prosser.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2005 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, with Rev. Steve Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
