Nancy E. Fouch, age 75, of Mount Vernon died Monday April 22, 2019 at the Ohio Eastern Star home in Mount Vernon. Nancy was born September 18, 1943 near Coshocton to Herbert Berry Jr and Lorna E (Hamilton) Berry Laughlin. Nancy had been employed as a case worker for Job and Family Services in Knox County for 30 years.

Surviving are her husband David James Fouch; her daughter Deidra “Dee” (Joseph) Carpenter; 2 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 12 step great grandchildren; her sisters Linda Kempton, Kay (Michael Franz) Wilson and Jan (Phil) Ashcraft and her brother William (Shirl) Berry. Besides her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a daughter Angela Fouch , a son James Edward Fouch, her sister Barbara Keegan and a brother Richard Berry.

In following Nancy’s wishes there will be no formal services but the family ask that you honor her by recalling a fond memory of Nancy.

  • Much love to Dee at this time of sadness. I have wonderful memories of going to their house as a kid, and then as Dee and I had ours. Nancy was always so gracious. Always dressed up, her makeup and nails perfect . I can still hear her gruff laugh as I am thinking of her now. Hugs Dee
