Nancy Carol (Cranston) Carr, age 63, of Chesapeake, Ohio, died Wednesday evening, January 2, 2008, at the Kings Daughter’s Hospital in Ashland, Kentucky.

She was the daughter of Everett Lutrell and Minnie Mae (Morris) Cranston, her mother survives in Marion. She was born February 4, 1944 in Marion.

After graduating from Marion Harding High School Nancy met her husband at the footlong hot dog stand on North Main Street, he survives in Chesapeake.

She loved camping, traveling, enjoyed playing cards and being with people. Nancy never knew a stranger and never held a grudge.

Nancy worked at Plastic Film Corporation as a sewing machine operator.

In addition to her husband, Roger L. Carr, Nancy is also survived by one daughter Krista Lee Ann (Billy) Penick of Chesapeake, one granddaughter whom she dearly loved and enjoyed Aryanna, two sisters: Evie M. (Dean) Frazier and Paula June Main both of Marion, one brother John E. Eaches of Marion, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, great great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother Butch, and one sister Beverly.

Her family will greet friends on Sunday from 2 – 5 pm at the Denzer-Farison-Hottinger & Snyder Funeral Home, 360 East Center Street, Marion, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Monday. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
