Myron Kay Vigar

Myron Kay Vigar, 64, of Delaware died early Tuesday morning at his residence. He was born January 5, 1945 in Columbus to Edward E. Vigar Jr. and Ildreth M. (Stegner) Vigar. He served in the United States Air Force and was a supervisor for PPG Industries, Delaware. He lived most of his life in Delaware and enjoyed socializing with friends, hunting, golfing, cars, motorcycles, and going to the beach. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and he was the primary caretaker of his wife for many years. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sarah (Paddock); son, Jeff (Holly) Vigar of Lewis Center; daughter, Jenni (Aaron) Willis of Lewis Center; 3 grandchildren, Alexa Vigar, Braden and Layne Willis; brother, Bob (Julie) Vigar of Delaware; numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends in the community; special friends, Don and Marie Askew of Mount Gilead. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends on Saturday February 28th from 11:00 am until the time of Celebration of Life Services begin at 1:00 pm at the Rodman Neeper Funeral Home, 1510 W. William St., Delaware. The family will then host a reception, to continue fellowship, in the Rodman Neeper Community Room.
