Myron K. O’Bryan, age 47 of Delaware went home to be with his Lord & Savior on October 18th, 2011. He passed away unexpectedly while receiving treatment at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born December 18, 1963 in Ashland, KY to John and Grace Williams O’Bryan. He was a member of the Lake St. Church of God, where he taught children’s church for many years. He was a member of the Delaware City Police Alumni Academy Association and a proud member of the Kentucky Colonels. He enjoyed cooking and baking, loved to read and write poetry, having had 2 of his poems published. He enjoyed gardening, going fishing, and being in the out-of-doors. He was an employee of the Grady Memorial Hospital, working in the Dietary Department. He is survived by his mother Grace Lewis of Delaware; 4 brothers Paul O’Bryan of Delaware, Mike (Belinda) Lewis of Prospect, Patric (Kelley) Lewis of Delaware, and Rolan (Joni) Gunnoe of Marion; several nieces & nephews, aunts & uncles, extended family, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father John O’Bryan in 1980 and his stepfather Kermit Lewis in 2002. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 23rd from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the Lake Street Church of God, 185 Lake Street, where services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dan Maurer officiating.
