Minnie Deloris Blair, 88, of Delaware, OH died Saturday afternoon May 30, 2009 at the Sarah Moore Home surrounded by her family.

She was born February 13, 1921 in Leonardsburg, OH to Harry and Clara Cackler. She was a graduate of Brown High School (Class of 1941) and retired from Western Auto. She enjoyed traveling, visiting with her friends, and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a longtime member of Pythian Sisters of Ohio Onawa #600 of Delaware and Nomads of Avurdka. She also helped her husband, Donald, with the family dairy farm, doing everything from milking cows to baling hay.

She is survived by her son, Donald, and his wife, Nancy, of Peachtree City, GA; four grandchildren, Todd (and Cindi) Blair, Brian (and Stacy) Blair, Chris Blair and Kimberly Blair; six great-grandchildren; brother, Harry Cackler, Jr., as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald, Sr.; sisters, Mary Wells, Ruth Schillinger, Grace Williams, Helen Conway; brothers, Harold, James and Charles.

Friends may call Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William (SR 36), Delaware; Pythian Sisters Service at 7:30. Services will be held there on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Don Wallick officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Mound Cemetery.
