Mildred E. Pangborn, 88, of Twp. Rd. 71, Edison, Ohio died Thursday, January 02, 2003 in Woodside Village.
She was a lifelong Caledonia area resident, where she was born on March 28, 1914, the daughter of the late John and Nannie Bell Tomlin. She graduated from Caledonia High School in 1932. Mildred was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family. She was a member of the North Canaan United Methodist Church, the Canaan Grange, and had served as a Canaan Township Trustee for seven years.
She is survived by two sons Gary (Billie) Pangborn and Les Pangborn all of Edison, OH; six grandchildren Cathy, Lori, Shelly, Gary Dean, Brian and Jamie; ten great grandchildren; and two sisters Jeanette Irey of Caledonia, OH and Helen Burnoskey of Marion, OH.
Her husband Floyd O. “Mike” Pangborn, whom she married on March 28, 1935, preceded her in death on May 10, 1988. A brother Lloyd Tomlin and sister Alda Lennings also preceded her in death.
Rev. Robert Johncox will conduct graveside funeral services Monday at 11 a.m. in Caledonia Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Snyder Funeral Home in Mt. Gilead.
