Michelle Evans was a hard-working, kind mother, daughter and sister who always put others before herself. Michelle Evans, 53, of Galion passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 12, 2020.

She was born June 9, 1967 in Warren, Michigan and was the daughter of Thomas and Clara (Phillips) Owens.

Michelle graduated from Galion High School in 1985 and worked at the former Baja Boats in Bucyrus, Crane Plumming and was currently working at the Timken Company in Bucyrus.

She is survived by her parents, Thomas and Clara Owens of Galion; daughter Tiffany (Allen Pfeifer) Evans of Galion; son Kyle (Rickayla Daiber) Evans of Galion; one grandchild on the way; father of her children, Tony Evans of Galion and three sisters Barbara (Kenneth) Grix of Galion, Missy (Doug Elgin) Moore of Shelby and Jennifer (Kevin Mosier) Stinehour of Galion.

Michelle was preceded in death by a nephew, Chad Thomas Grix.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Joe Stafford officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
