Michael Patrick “Mike” Kiley

MANSFIELD: Michael Patrick “Mike” Kiley, age 61, of Mansfield passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018.
He was born February 22, 1957 in Mansfield, the son of Kenneth Patrick Kiley and Carrie Margaret (Ingold) Fackler and graduated from Shelby High School in 1975.
Mike was self-employed in home improvement and repairs. He was a member of AMVETS Post #26, Owls Home Lodge, and Mansfield Leiderkranz.
Mike’s passion was on the stage, drumsticks in hand alongside his sister, Collien, performing as “Me and the Drummer.” Together they played all over Mansfield as well as Florida during the winter months. His love of country and rock shared with Collien on stage for nearly 10 years.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law Michael Kiley, Jr. of Mansfield, Kenneth “Cajun” and Bridget Adam of Vacaville, California; siblings and their spouses Collien Kiley-Rothig and Ken Rothig, Danny “Shawn” Kiley, Kevin Kiley, Kara Kiley-Hall, Curt and Tammy Fackler, and Mark Fackler; friend and brother Jim Gollehon; and very dear friends Bob Grose and Steve and Debbie Stephenson.
He loved all his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews with all his heart.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his sister Carol Jo Whitely, and stepfather Ervin Fackler.
A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held Thursday, May 24 at 3 pm at AMVETS Post #26 1100 W. Fourth Street, Ontario.
