We all dispersed, raised our own children with those memories and hopes for the same blessings. I think both our brothers loved Mount Vernon but this was too soon for Michael to be leaving all of it. My condolences for your loss and grief.

  • Dear Anna, Pandora, and Pepena,

I am so very sorry on your loss of Michael. We had some good times back in the 70’s, didn’t we? Michael was always a gentleman to me and remained a good friend. I am so glad he called me recently and we were able to do some catching up! I think your whole family has had enough loss and sorrow , and Anna you especially. You girls were all so beautiful and Michael was so handsome, too. He had a really good sense of humor and could always make me laugh. That is how I will remember him; handsome, young, funny, and strong. Rest in Peace, my friend. I will miss you ~ you hold a place in my heart.

    Love,

    Karen
