Mersadies Jade “Sadie” Chapman

July 25, 2008 ‒ October 05, 2008

Marion, Ohio

Mersadies Jade “Sadie” Chapman, infant daughter of Krystal and Jason Chapman, went to be with Jesus on Sunday morning, October 5, 2008, at her home.

She was born on July 25, 2008, at Marion General Hospital. She was to be a member of the Victory Center Church of God.

Though Sadie was only with us for a short time, she brought great joy to each heart and life she touched. She left us for a higher calling, to be with her Creator in heaven. Resting in the arms of God, our salvation will once again reunite her family with their baby girl. She will remain in her family’s hearts forever.

In addition to her parents, Sadie will be dearly missed by her two brothers: LeviKristian Clifford Forman, and Scott Anthony Chapman; a sister, Dawn Marie Chapman; grandparents: Christene Chapman and James Forman, all of Marion, and Steve and Karen Kearns, of Big Island; great grandmothers: Marlene Plotner and Margaret Forman; aunts and uncles: Shannon E. Chapman, Jason and Angel Forman, all of Marion, and John and April Travis of Clermont, Florida; cousins: Kylie Marie Williams, Aaron Lee Rasey, Kendra Nichole Forman, Sierra Jade Forman and Avery Travis; and numerous great aunts and uncles, and second cousins.

She was preceded in death, and now joins many who have touched her family’s lives before, her grandfather, Richard E. Chapman; and great grandparents: James Clifford Forman, Lowell Eugene Plotner, Marshall and Frances Kearns.

Sadie has shared the gift of life with another, as she has donated her heart to an infant in need.

Her family will greet friends on Wednesday, October 8, 2008, from 1 – 3 and 6 – 8 p.m. at the Denzer-Farison-Hottinger & Snyder Funeral Home, 360 E. Center St., Marion, where services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Grand Prairie Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to the family and they can be sent to the funeral home.
