Melissa A. Mason, age 40, of Fredericktown, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018, at her residence.

She was born on July 14, 1977, in Mount Vernon, OH, to Roger and Diane O’Dell.

With a caring and loving personality, Melissa worked as an in home health aide for many years.

Melissa had a love for the outdoors. She enjoyed fishing, her chickens, and her dogs. She loved country music and especially loved hibiscus flowers. Over the years, Melissa visited the Cornerstone Community Church. Her generous heart of always putting others first will surely be missed by many.

Melissa will be remembered as the beautiful woman she was and that she was surly loved by her family.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Abigail L. Mason; son, Garrett O’Dell; husband, Craig Mason; parents: Roger and Diane O’Dell; brother, Doug O’Dell; and her canine companions: Dozer, Jezzibel, and Freddy.

A memorial services will be held at a later date at the Cornerstone Community Church. You are encouraged to wear purple to the service as that was her favorite color.
