Mary Maxine Huffman, age 92 of Centerburg passed away Saturday evening, February 3, 2018 at Countryview of Sunbury.

She was born on October 8, 1925 in Raymond, Ohio to the late Frances Loren Strahm and Edna Lane.

While roller skating at the former Smith Roller Rink, she met Paul Huffman who would become her husband on January 11, 1947. Always with each other through good times and bad, together they shared 64 wonderful years raising a family and building a farm. Sadly, Paul passed away in 2011.

She attended the Centerburg Church of Christ and was a 50+ year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, George Behrens Chapter. When able, she enjoyed gardening, canning, crocheting and square dancing with her husband.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Marlene (Tom) Heston of Sunbury, Stephen (Faye) Huffman of Pickton, TX and Dan (Cathy) Huffman of Centerburg; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; foster daughters, April Brady of Walhonding and Shirley Mostert of Clermont, Florida; sister, June (Bill) Aumiller of Dublin; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by son Kim, daughter Debra and a sister Anola Baker.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Eastview Cemetery, Centerburg. Following the graveside service, the family will receive friends until 7:00 pm at the Huffman residence, 4761 White Road, Centerburg, OH 43011.
