Snyder Funeral Homes is honored to serve Mary’s family and encourage you to share a fond memory or message of condolence to them at

  • To the family and friends of Mrs. Scherff, please accept our condolences. We grieve with you in the passing of a lady our daughter Mandy describes as a “sweet, sweet lady” and “a very good teacher.” Both of our children had Mrs. Scherff for third grade at Western. Our son David describes her as “wonderful.” We were so appreciative of her as a dear teacher. May you find comfort in 2 Corinthians 1:3-5, where it talks about the God of all comfort.

    Best Regards,

    Ed and Kitty Mullen
    Mandy (and Nathan)Mullen Wright
    David (and Amanda) Mullen

    • We lived two doors down from your family on Westwood Ave, Sorry I couldn’t make the service. my family all live out of town, and they and I express our deepest
      sympathy to your family

  • I was privileged to teach with Mary Kay at Western Elementary. She was a kind, professional educator. I also spent a little time with her after Shad died, just visiting and talking about friends and books.
