MANSFIELD: Mary Katherine Workman passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 in OhioHealth Shelby Hospital. She was 83.

She was born March 29, 1935 to parents Mr. & Mrs. F. G. Slough in Northampton, England.  A young American by the name of Kenneth Workman caught her eye while he was stationed in England. The pair soon married and spent 61 years together until he passed away February 22 of last year.

Mary enjoyed doing many things including traveling, dancing going to the movies and of course her favorite by far…shopping!

She is survived by her son Paul R. Workman of Columbus; grandsons Michael (Jessica) Workman of Westerville, Jonathon Workman of Michigan and James (Annie) Workman of Dublin; great-grandson Aiden Workman; sisters Dorothy (John) Litteman, Betty (Paul) Middleton, Sybil (Dave) Wishart and Rosemary (Colin) Simpson all of England.

In addition to her loving husband, Mary was preceded in death by her parents.

Although no public service will be held in Mary’s memory, her family hopes that you will hold her in your heart as you remember her in your own special way.

    I reminisced recently with someone about canoeing along the Mohican with you when we were children. I remember my grandparents meeting us in the park with lunch. It seems as though you are doing well and I am certain enjoying your own wonderful family.
